I'm back!

Wow, its been a long time since I've posted a blog! Sorry friends. I will try to update on a more regular basis again.

Today I went to Disneyland. It was my last day at the happiest place on earth for awhile, since my annual pass expired today. Kinda sad, but kinda not. I've had a pass for YEARS!!! and so maybe its good to have a little break for awhile. It's not as magical when you can go whenever you want, year after year, ya know? I only went on three rides, Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and Indiana Jones. I ate a frozen banana (my favorite) and then headed out. There were lots of people and I didn't want to deal with the crowds. I was there for about 2 hours and then left...it just wasn't all that fun being there by myself. Too bad everyone works during the day, or I could've had a friend go with me! lol

forever in my heart

Six months ago we said goodbye to our dear Grandpa Hyde, and this week we said goodbye to our sweet Grandma Hyde who went to be with Jesus on March 3rd.

Two of the most caring and loving people in the world have now been reunited and are made well in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Although it is extremely sad to have to say goodbye, I am so happy they are both free from pain and suffering.

Today was my Grandma's funeral, it was unreal...I can't believe within six months I have had to say goodbye to both of my Grandparents. They were so amazing and I will miss them so much!!

My Grandma was loving, patient, kind, understanding, humble, creative, giving, hardworking, and God-fearing. She loved her family with all she had, and yet loved her Savior even more! I'm just so happy that she is finally home in the arms of Jesus...no more pain, confusion, loneliness, or sadness...the alzheimers has no more hold on her and she is free! I know she is in a better place and rejoicing! :)

Thank You, Jesus, for saving my soul and making me whole...and for giving me such an amazing family! I am truly blessed!! I will forever remember and love my sweet Grandparents and look forward to the day we will all be reunited again with You in Heaven!! :)

Just cut 9" off my hair!!! It was time for a change :) It feels good to have less hair to deal with...blow-drying my hair went WAY faster!!! :) We'll see how I feel about the big change tomorrow...hopefully I won't regret it!!! Lol :)

Help a girl out...

On January 3, 2011 I was laid off from my job at a construction company that I had been working at for nearly 5 months. So now that I have a lot of free time on my hands again, I'm looking for some ideas of projects, adventures, places to visit, things to photograph, crafts to make, etc. What do you think? Do you have any suggestions for me? Help a girl out and please leave a comment on this post and tell me your ideas.

my 1st craft fair

So I experienced my first craft fair...having a table at one that is! As some of you know, I have started a business called The Clever Corner, where I do cupcake catering, jewelry design, and misc. craft designs. I like to take one man's junk and make it into my new treasures! So I decided to get a table at a local craft fair and sell some of my items, and get my name out there. I sold cupcakes and jewelry. I didn't sell as much as I had hoped, but it was a great experience. I look forward to my next sale! I also have items for sale on Etsy...check out my site and buy something! :)

Christmas @ the Sideboard
