I just love being out in nature and enjoying God's creation!
{If you have a few minutes, read through Genesis 1}
Its so nice getting away from the city and being out in the middle of nowhere and just being at peace with everything...no stress, no hussle and bussle, no mindless tv shows or my addiction to netflix...well, you get the idea. For some reason, being outside and in nature is so refreshing and rejuvinating! Even for a day or two, you feel like you've had this time away, like a mini vacation, and its just the little boost you need to get you ready for more of daily life.
Today I decided to hit the road and go somewhere new...somewhere I've never visted before. So I made my way to Joshua Tree. While there, I took the time to capture some of the beauty I saw though my lens. Nature and Landscape are so inspiring to me, my favorite things to photograph. Here's a small glimpse of what my body and soul enjoyed out in nature this weekend {but to truly appreciate it, you need to go yourself}...
I hope you can get out of town soon, travel somewhere new, accomplish a goal, make a dream come true...do whatever it is you've been wanting to do for some time now. If you don't make it happen, who will? So get off your booty and go! Live like there's no tomorrow! And don't forget to thank God for the life you've been given, the beauty you see all around you, the wind in your hair, the sun on your face, the wonderful smells that surround you {simple smells like fresh cut grass, the salty ocean air, food grill'n on the bbq, a campfire, the scent rain leaves behind, the flowers growing around you}...
We are so lucky to have this time here on earth, let's use it to praise God for ALL He has created and all we have been blessed with!
"Shout to the Lord, all the earth, Let us sing
Power and majesty, praise to the King;
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar
At the sound of Your name.
I sing for joy at the work of Your hands,
Forever I'll love You, forever I'll stand,
Nothing compares to the promise I have in You."
